Blue Dog Training has a long-standing commitment to supporting three Australian charities through our White Card program: Cancer Council, Variety the Children's Charity, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. When you complete your White Card with Blue Dog Training, you are contributing to our ongoing support for these organisations. It is one of the ways we try to make sure that the work we do has meaning beyond the qualification itself.

We did not just pick these charities off a list. These are organisations that matter to the industries and communities we work in. Here is why each one.

    Variety: the Children's Charity

Variety supports children and families across Australia who are facing significant challenges. Their work reaches kids in regional and remote areas, kids with disability, and families who are doing it tough. For a Queensland-born organisation like Blue Dog Training, supporting a charity that focuses on Queensland kids and families is something we care about deeply.

    Royal Flying Doctor Service

The Royal Flying Doctor Service delivers emergency and primary health care to Australians in remote and regional communities. Many of Blue Dog Training's apprentices, trainers, and employers work in regional and remote Queensland. The RFDS provides essential services to those communities and we are proud to support their mission.

    Cancer Council

Cancer affects everyone in Australia, and the construction and trades industries are no exception. Outdoor workers, including tradespeople, have significantly elevated rates of skin cancer due to sun exposure. Cancer Council does critical work in research, prevention, and support that is directly relevant to the people who go through our training program.

We have been supporting Cancer Council for a long time and we intend to keep doing so.

How does the charity support work?

Through every White Card enrolment, Blue Dog Training contributes to our ongoing support for these three organisations. When you choose to train with us, you are part of that. It does not cost you anything extra; it is simply part of how we run our business and how we try to be a positive part of the communities we operate in.

Train with purpose. We mean that.
