    QLDLSCSQ01 Queensland Builder – Low Rise Site Supervisor

    Individuals in the Building and Construction industry can undertake this course in order to meet the technical qualification requirement needed to apply for a Site Supervisor Builder Low Rise licence with the QBCC. With this licence, you can manage and guide building activities on construction sites to ensure they meet all the necessary standards and regulations.

    CSQ Funded

    AU$250.00

    If you’re eligible for CSQ funding, you’ll only pay a $250 student co-contribution fee. It’s the same course, the same qualification, and the same practical support from real tradies who understand the industry and want to see you succeed.

    Fee for Service

    AU$3730.00

    If you’re not eligible for CSQ funding, you can still complete the Low Rise Site Supervisor course through our Fee for Service option. Learn from experienced builders and gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to oversee projects safely and efficiently.

    The full course is offered as three clusters, designed to complete one by one. For each unit, you’ll receive a learner resource to support your learning and knowledge development.

    Training Plan

    Stage 1

    • CPCCBC4009 – Apply legal requirements to building and construction projects

    • CPCCBC4012 – Read and interpret plans and specifications

    • CPCCBC4002 – Manage work health and safety in the building and construction workplace

    • CPCCBC4007 – Plan building and construction work

    Stage 2

    • BSBLDR414 – Lead team effectiveness

    • CPCCBC4001 – Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 1 and 10 buildings

    • CPCCBC4018 – Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building and construction projects

    • CPCCBC4008 – Supervise site communication and administration processes for building and construction projects

    Stage 3

    • CPCCBC4053 – Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for Class 2 to 9 Type C buildings

    • CPCCBC4010 – Apply structural principles to residential and commercial constructions

    Prerequisites for CPCCBC4010 – Apply structural principles to residential and commercial constructions are CPCCBC4053 and CPCCBC4001.


    Delivery You will work through the course at your own pace, downloading workbooks from our website; with a registered trainer available to support you every step of the way.
    Units 10 units of competency.
    Duration The standard Training Plan is set over a 12 month period.
    Selection Criteria Blue Dog Training recommends you meet one of the following criteria:
    • High knowledge of construction with extensive job experience
    • You must provide evidence of a completed Certificate III in a construction trade. Note that if you are applying for CSQ funding where applicable, additional eligibility criteria apply.

    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Current version of Microsoft Office Word
    • A device which will allow you to take photographs
    Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Initiative offers funding incentives for this course.

    CSQ is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry.


    CSQ Skill Sets Program

    Under the CSQ Skill Sets Program, CSQ will contribute $4000.00 towards the total cost of your qualification, reducing your student co-contribution fee to $250.00.


    Participant Eligibility

    You may be eligible for CSQ Funding if you have the right to work in Australia and are an Eligible Worker or Unemployed Eligible Worker in Queensland.

    An Eligible Worker is someone substantially engaged in the Building and Construction industry for the majority of their regular working hours.

    To be considered for CSQ Funding, you will need to provide the necessary documentation to support your eligibility.
