BY TRADIES, FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Our Community
Proud to give back
Blue Dog Training is committed to supporting the communities we work in. Our team helps strengthen local projects, school initiatives, charity programs and industry partnerships right across Queensland. From supporting youth pathways to contributing to community events, we focus on practical support that makes a real difference. When you train with Blue Dog, you help us continue this work, which keeps skills strong and communities growing.

Blue Dog Training’s Car 350, Driving Change Across Queensland
For more than a decade, Car 350 has been one of Blue Dog Training’s most recognisable community efforts, helping raise money for kids who need it most through the Variety Bash and other charity events across Queensland. What started as a fun way to give back has grown into a long running tradition that brings our team, employers and local communities together for an important cause.
Why We Support Variety
Variety Queensland supports children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability across the state. Every dollar raised goes directly into helping families with vital equipment, services and support. Taking part in Variety events lets us do what tradies do best. Work as a team, help people and get behind something bigger than ourselves.
The Journey of Car 350
Over the years, Car 350 has played a major part in the Variety Bash and other fundraising events. Below are some of the standout moments that showcase the impact of our team and the generosity of our supporters.
- In 2023 Car 350 contributed to the 1.6 million dollars raised for the Variety Bash.
- In 2022 Car 350 helped raise enough funds to purchase a school bus for Julia Creek State School.
- In 2021 Car 350 raised over 100,000 dollars for the Variety Bash and supported the Royal Flying Doctor Service with a donation of 7,500 dollars.
- In 2020 Blue Dog raised 55,000 dollars for the Variety Bash.
- In 2019 Blue Dog raised more than 62,900 dollars for Variety and continued to support cancer research and breast cancer foundations.
- Since 2014 Car 350 has been involved in the Bash and has helped raise millions across the event through teamwork and community backing.
Across the years our staff have jumped in to drive, fundraise, volunteer and represent Blue Dog with pride. Each trip brings new memories, with dusty roads, country towns and plenty of laughs along the way.
Community, Connection and Real Impact
Supporting Variety is more than fundraising. It brings our team closer, strengthens our connection with local communities and reminds us why giving back matters. Whether it is providing a new school bus to a remote community or contributing to essential medical services for Queensland families, every kilometre Car 350 travels makes a difference.
Proud Tradies Supporting Queensland Kids
Blue Dog Training will continue to stand behind Variety Queensland and the incredible work they do. Car 350 is not about the car, it is about the cause. It is driven by our people and supported by our partners, apprentices and schools who share the same values of community and generosity.
