    Unique Student Identifier

    If you are a new student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. Your USI number is unique to you and gives you an online record of your vocational education and training (VET) undertaken in Australia.

    Roof Tool App

    The Roof Tool App is a free resource for carpenters and apprentices who need fast and accurate roofing calculations on site. Available for iPhone, it removes manual working out and delivers instant results for common roof types. It supports Hip and Valley, Splayed End Hip, Hexagonal and Octagonal roofs and calculates the pitch and geometrical lengths of all roofing members. You can also email calculations and diagrams directly from the app for easy planning and communication.

    Skills Profiler App

    The Skills Profiler App is a simple tool for apprentices training with Blue Dog to keep their records organised and up to date. Available on iOS and Android, it replaces the paper logbook and lets apprentices record real work completed on site. Users can log in, take photos of tasks, and upload entries directly from their phone. This keeps training evidence accurate, easy to manage, and ready for assessment at any time, making progress tracking faster for both apprentices and employers.
