On Friday the 24th John Clacher finished up at Blue Dog Training for retirement.
Before starting with Blue Dog Training six years ago John ran a highly successful construction company which saw him travel the world. He has also worked as a Construction teacher working with apprentices and delivering the Builders’ course.
Johnny has found his time at Blue Dog enjoyable thanks to the standout staff and the great atmosphere. When asked his proudest achievement Johnny replied “being part of the team that successfully got four kids to adulthood and now working on the grandkids”. John and his wife, Karin, have grand travel plans in place to keep them busy which the rest of the staff at Blue Dog are very jealous of.
In John’s years at Blue Dog Training he completed 271 apprentices with approximately 160 still completing their training with us currently.
Everyone at Blue Dog and all his past apprentices are sure to miss Johnny’s delightful singing, occasionally inappropriate jokes, unmistakeable voice and generally charming nature.
