Encouraged by a $10.1 billion allocation to construction projects in Queensland, Blue Dog Training are sure to see a steady increase in not only the number of short courses completed, but the number of apprenticeships commenced.

Blue Dog CEO, Kristine Skippington hopes the announcement, that promises jobs, spells good news for Apprentices and Labourers.  "Significant investment always boosts confidence in our industries, so it's reassuring to see the government is also committed to working with the private sector on innovative infrastructure proposals".

With a focus on job creating, it is exciting to see a 25% rebate of payroll tax for employers of apprentices.  Blue Dog Director, Brad Deas says the $45 million incentive means employers who hire apprentices will receive the rebate.  "Any financial incentive, particularly to small businesses, that support the hiring of apprentices is certainly a benefit to the industry".

Focussed on meeting the needs of industry, Blue Dog Training combines the tried and tested apprenticeship model with the latest technology, providing high-quality, flexible training to increase the overall learning experience of apprentices and meet the needs of employers.  The market leader in construction training, Blue Dog are not only known for their industry preferred apprenticeships, but their solid reputation as Queensland's largest provider of White Cards.
