Donation from Blue Dog helps vital medical service continue to soar

Posted Thursday 1st June 2017

Blue Dog Training proudly donates a portion of the profits from every completed White Card course to charities selected by our clients.  Thanks to your continued support, Blue Dog Training donated $8,600 last week to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, so they can continue the amazing work they do across Australia.

The Royal Flying Doctor is one of the largest and comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world, providing 24-hour emergency services and primary health care to people all over an area of 7.3 millions square kilometres.

“We are proud to support an organisation which works to ensure that Australians living in rural and remotes areas can have access to emergency medical and primary health services.” CEO of Blue Dog Training, Deborah Walker said.

This year has already proven to be a promising one for the future of the organisation, with further upgrades to crucial remote airstrips announced via Federal Government funding initiatives, alongside technological leaps in the flight and medical simulators used to train its dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Fundraising and donations from businesses and the wider community make it possible for The Flying Doctor to keep flying. If you wish to donate, or want to know more about the great work they are doing please visit their website: Royal Flying Doctors
