POSITION VACANT - DIESEL FITTER - APPRENTICE TRAINER

Following our continued growth and industry support we are seeking another Diesel Fitter to assist with the training of apprentices. The position is Brisbane-based, servicing apprentices throughout Queensland. Blue Dog Training is a leader in blended delivery and quality customer service in the training industry with approximately 1500 apprentices currently in training.

Applicants will have a positive, professional and proactive approach to their workplace and clients and a commitment to excellent in training delivery and assessment.

Your day to day duties will include but are not limited to:

• Delivery, assessment & review of units of competence for Certificate III Engineering (Diesel Fitter)
• Ensure compliance with AQTF requirements within job role
• Comply with all relevant legislation and company policies
• Mentoring apprentices to ensure quality training outcomes

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that you have or are willing to acquire the following essential qualifications and behavioural attributes.

• Certificate III in Engineering (Diesel Fitter) with current industry experience
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Demonstrate a high level of communications skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability in work co-operatively and effectively as a member of a team
• Personal qualities which foster a high level of achievement in apprentices
• Strong organisational skills
• Flexibility and reliability
• Dedication, initiative and time management skills
