There's certainly a buzz in the trenches of Blue Dog today after we were announced among the finalists in the Queensland Training Awards. Joining the 2015 elite group of top-performing Training Providers, the state awards recognise outstanding performers in vocational education and training for their contribution to skilling Australia.
Training and Skills Minister, Yvette D'Ath congratulated all finalists, acknowledging our commitment, excellence and contribution to the state's training sector. "To reach the level of a state finalist in the Queensland Training Awards is a significant achievement. I wish them all the best as they compete to be named best in Queensland."
Certainly not our first rodeo, Blue Dog Training has an enviable award-winning history of State and National titles; a testament to the consistency of our unique, creative and values driven approach to delivering positive outcomes to our clients and stakeholders.
Nominated as a finalist in the Large Training Provider of the year category, CEO Kristine Skippington said the acknowledgement is a tribute to our team. "Being recognised in such a competitive field at this level is testament to the innovation, hard work, high standards and customer support of our team. Everyone at Blue Dog is owed congratulations today - we certainly wouldn't be where we are without the support of each and every member of staff."
Winners will be announced at training in Queensland's 'night of nights' on Friday 11 September in Brisbane. Our Directors Brad and Kris and the rest of the Blue Dog team are certainly looking forward to the big event that celebrates and recognises excellence in vocational education and training.
