On Friday 8 November Blue Training Directors and staff joined with over 1000 representatives of the construction industry to celebrate excellence in the Queensland Construction sector at a gala dinner at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
Blue Dog Training were very proud to be a Finalist for The Construction Training Centre Award for Registered Training Organization of the Year.
CSQ CEO Brett Schimming said the evening saw the construction industry come together to honour its best and brightest. “CSQ would like to congratulate the winners, finalists and nominees of the 2013 Excellence Awards for their exceptional industry achievements over the past year,” he said.
“Their contributions to Queensland’s building and construction industry are impressive and they are an inspiration to each of us to work harder and continue striving for excellence.
“Through the exceptional quality of nominations and a sold-out event, this year’s Excellence Awards confirms industry leaders are recognising the vital role of training and upskilling for the future growth of the industry,” he added.
The 2013 Excellence Awards was supported by Major Event Sponsor Lend Lease, pre-dinner beverage sponsor Mirvac and dinner sponsor Electrogroup Apprenticeships and Training as well as additional industry sponsors
Blue Dog Training were not the winners of their category on the night but the judges complimented them on their outstanding application and their innovative quality approach to construction training.
Blue Dog Training would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners on the night and the ongoing support of CSQ. The big winner on the night of course was the Queensland construction industry.
