Blue Dog Training has once again been recognised as one of the State's leading training providers by taking out the Private Training Organisation of the Year award for 2009.
"Our winners showcase the strength of our state's training opportunities, which are not just enriching individual personal and professional experiences, but also helping a range of industries stay at the cutting edge." Education and Training Minister Geoff Wilson said at the awards ceremony.
Blue Dog Training Director Mr Brad Deas stated "We are honoured to win this prestigious award. It is pleasing to receive recognition for the efforts of the Blue Dog Training staff who are making a difference with our apprentices, employers and clients. This award reinforces our commitment to providing high quality flexible training delivered in an innovative way... we are proving that training can be user friendly while achieving excellent outcomes."
The winners for the 11 categories were chosen from 48 finalists, following regional titles held across Queensland earlier this year.
"We received more than 640 impressive nominations for this year's awards, which show that Queenslanders are working hard and are proud of their achievements." Mr Wilson said.
Blue Dog will now compete for the national title at the Australian Training Awards, held in Canberra on November 19, 2009.
