Following our continued growth and industry support we are seeking another Diesel Fitter to assist with the training of apprentices.

<i>Blue Dog Training</i> is proud to announce that our <i>Roof Tool</i> iPhone App is available now on the Apple App Store. This app is free and will calculate the geometrical member lengths and pitches for a number of roof types.

Last Friday evening Blue Dog Training was recognised at the Queensland Training Awards as a Finalist in the Large Training Provider category. We were very pleased to be selected as a finalist competing against organisations that are many times larger than Blue Dog. This is recognition of our ongoing commitment to service and continued improvement in courses from the White Card to Apprenticeship Training.

Blue Dog Training (or should I say MAROON Dog Training) are showing support for our team, as true Queenslanders, by going maroon for the State of Origin decider.

2011 is off to a wet start. Many of our apprentices and employers have been seriously affected by the floods. We have heard stories from across Queensland of the disruption and heartbreak caused by the flooding to our individual apprentices, employers and their families as well as the effect on their business and prospects for the future. While there is no doubt that the impact has been enormous things seem to be slowly getting back to normal.

Australia's Training Provider of the Year and winner of the nation's Innovation in Training Award has revealed its long awaited Blue Dog Maths, an online, interactive maths learning system with a difference; it works - guaranteed.

Last Saturday night Team Blue Dog did battle for an action packed 30 minutes in the Ipswich Show's Demolition Derby. We finished 2nd again, however this time there were 28 cars involved. We were going for the win and being beaten by the Boonah Boys for the second year in a row shows just how tough their car is.
