What is a White Card and why do I need one?
A White Card is evidence that you have completed a General Construction Induction course/White Card course (previously known as the Blue Card course). This course is mandatory for anyone who works or wants to work in the construction industry. The White Card course is nationally recognised and can be done online with Blue Dog Training 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our course is designed to take six hours but you may move through it quicker if you already have knowledge of general site safety requirements. All students are encouraged to watch the "Show Me" videos throughout the course to ensure they have a thorough understanding of site safety.
Which White Card do I need?
All White Cards are mutually recognised in each state of Australia. If you are unsure as to which White Card you should complete, we suggest that you discuss it further with your employer or your relevant work health and safety regulatory authority.
