YES. Self-paced online White Card courses are still able to be completed if you reside in Western Australia.
Completing an online course will require you to have access to personal protective equipment (Hard hat, High-Visibility Retro-Reflective Vest, Eye Protection, Hearing Protection) to demonstrate how to properly fit them and answer some verbal questions over a video call. It is a regulatory requirement that the fitting of PPE and verbal questions are completed via live video call with a Trainer & Assessor from an RTO.
We would recommend you check with any RTO offering online White Card in Western Australia that their course involves a live video call before enrolling and paying.
Be Careful!
Many online sites allow you to enrol and pay for the online course even if you are not a resident of Western Australia. Upon completing the course this will result in you not being issued a White Card and most likely not receiving a refund.
If you are not a resident of Western Australia do not enrol in a WA online White Card course.
